چکیده

Nowadays jamming causes the major data loss in mobile communications. During the transmission time Anti-jamming technique can be used to transmit intermittently at low power in order to conserve energy. Here we use 802.11wireless network technology and this is to access the functions of the physical layer. There are two functions called Rate Adaptation and Power Control are used to find out whether the attackers involve over the transmission. Attackers involve and send the unwanted messages from source to the destination and use more power. During the transmission time the original messages were not sent properly and occupy more power. First, the Rate Adaptation Algorithm controls the data rate during transmission and increases the packet delivery ratio. Second, Power Control technique is used to find out who is using unwanted powers. Attackers are motivated to use a random jammer to make the jammers to sleep intermittently and increase its lifetime and decrease the probability of detection. The two types of jammers are Deceptive-random jammer and Reactive jammer model. So we primarily consider the Deceptive-random jammer model. Moreover, Reactive jammers are not easily available since they are harder to implement and require special expertise on the part of the attacker.

A Study Of Wireless Mesh Networks Insider Attacks Of Selective Jamming Or Dropping

Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) promise to increase high-speed wireless property on the far side what's attainable with the present WiFi-based infrastructure. However, their distinctive field options leave them notably prone to security threats. During this article, we tend to describe numerous varieties of refined attacks launched from adversaries with internal access to the WMN. We tend to any ...

In recent years a new type of wireless networks named wireless mesh networks has drawn the attention of researchers. In order to increase the capacity of mesh network, nodes are equipped with multiple radios tuned on multiple channels emerging multi radio multi channel wireless mesh networks. Therefore, the main challenge of these networks is how to properly assign the channels to the radios. O...

WisperNet: Anti-Jamming for Wireless Sensor Networks

Resilience to electromagnetic jamming and its avoidance are difficult problems. It is often both hard to distinguish malicious jamming from congestion in the broadcast regime and a challenge to conceal the activity patterns of the legitimate communication protocol from the jammer. In the context of energy-constrained wireless sensor networks, nodes are scheduled to maximize the common sleep dur...

A Survey on Multicast Routing Approaches in Wireless Mesh Networks

Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) which mediates the broadband Internet access, have been recently received many attentions by the researchers. In order to increase capacity in these networks, nodes are equipped with multiple radios tuned on multiple channels emerging multi radio multi-channel WMNs (MRMC WMNs). Therefore, a vital challenge that poses in MRMC WMNs is how to properly assign channels ...

Beamforming techniques for enabling spatial-reuse in MCCA 802.11s networks

We address the problem of co-channel interference (CCI) in wireless mesh networks based on the IEEE802.11s extension. The carrier sensing mechanism deployed in those networks insufficiently addresses the CCI problem, causing the hidden and exposed node problems; consequently degrading the throughput and latency. In this paper, we show how beamforming techniques can be implemented on top of the ...
